Anything to stop three year old kicking window crank?

Is there anything out there to stop my nearly three year old kicking window crank in the car and opening the window while strapped in his seat? He did it the other day and took his shoe off and threw it out (that I'd just bought him from Clarks!). I was going down a dual carriageway so it was nowhere to be seen Confused

Put him in the middle?

Yes put him in the middle

I'm sure you could remove the handle or tie it to something.

Putting him in the middle wouldn't work as I have a six year old too and they would fight if they could reach each other. Thanks anyway.

Thanks. I have one of those but that particular day it wasn't on. That solves the problem of him throwing things out but not cold or rain blowing in. Thank though

You used to be able to take the cranks off. Have you tried?
Just from experience of having cars if you tried to do it a bit quick / accidentally pulled out they'd pop off! They were pretty old cars though so new ones might not.

Take his shoes off to start with? It might be quite painful to do in bare feet, and at least he couldn't throw them if he did manage to open it.

Rear-facing car seat?

Or massive fluffy slippers and duct tape perhaps?

You used to be able to take the crank handle off. Give it a wiggle see if it does.
