Panic over D&V

Hi this is my first time posting and I am desperate for some reassurance. I came down with D&V in the early hours of Saturday morning. Just me so far but I have a huge fear of the kids getting I’ll and am now panicking that they will get it.To make my panic worse we are booked to go to Legoland with friends next weekend so now stressing that we will have to cancel. I have stayed away as much as I can from the kids, DH has prepared their food and I’ve disinfected the bathroom constantly. What are my chances of the family avoiding it?

I think it's unlikely to still be hanging around by next weekend. I find that kids bounce back really well if they do get it and, although unpleasant, it's usually short lived. Impossible to say whether they will though! Hope you feel better soon.

Thank you I needed this reassurance. I keep trying to tell myself the same. We had to cancel this weekend away in June because my ds was hospitalised with rotavirus so really wary now.
