How to get rid of spiders?

Have the biggest spider I've ever seen, in our bedroom (DP is out so I'll have to sort it).
Usually I'd put a glass over a spider and chuck it outside but this one is massive, I'm not going near that.
Just threw something at it in a panic as it was coming close and Im sure the bloody thing jumped...can spiders jump? Hmm
Anyhoooo someone help me, I need to get rid of it!!

My nightmare 😫. Plug the bottom of the door so it can't get into your hallway, wait for hubby, make a bed elsewhere...

You need one of these
It won’t hurt the spider, you don’t have to get close and it can reach up high.

In the meantime though, book yourself into a hotel

Thanks Barbarara, I'm gonna get one of those.

I use a spider deterrent spray around doors and windows. It smells quite nice but not to the spiders.

Option 1 - get a big cook book a drop it on it if you see it again.
Option 2 - flame thrower

I had a big spider problem in my attic bedroom luckily There's a really good humane product on amazon called Ecowidow spider repellent all natural pet and child safe. I found it works really well and I've tried a few brands. I use to kill them but always felt guilty, this is loads better way to deal with them think
