Hangover cures

I've been dying all day. I had 4 drinks last night. Doesn't sound like much but I'm not a big drinker due to the hangovers of death. Am a broken woman. I tried a can of coke earlier, my traditional cure- ended in vomiting. I need a new cure. What's yours??

Honestly you just need a glass off full sugar cola & sleep, then your be grand

MyBeloved · 07/09/2019 23:01

Loads of water/squash, comfort food, crap telly and pyjamas.

MrsMoastyToasty · 07/09/2019 23:03

Titsywoo · 07/09/2019 23:06

4 drinks and you're still hungover?! Blimey. Just water and sleep if everything is making you sick. Small sips.

Had 2x 2 hour naps today. Can't even look at food yet or water, but tomorrow I'll eat all the food Grin

Try and drink some water or you'll feel worse as you must be massively dehydrated

PurplePuffinPicker · 07/09/2019 23:37

Doesn't help now, but take water to bed when you're pissed. And drink some before you sleep. If you are likely to forget, put two glasses of water by your bed before you start - one for bedtime one for morning.

I like stodge when I'm hungover, crisps, 2 min noodles, toast etc, and tea.

Mummyshark2018 · 07/09/2019 23:45

Banana and a Diet Coke, followed by a nice breakfast- eggs, bacon, avacado, orange juice and bread. Usually does the trick along with 2 paracetamol

IncyWincyGrownUp · 08/09/2019 00:01

I don’t get hangovers from alcohol, but suffer something similar from migraines. I need salt and fluids, so usually have a glass of water, a handful of salty nuts or crisps of some sort, a cup of sweet tea, then as much sleep as I can get.

KronksSpinachPuffs · 08/09/2019 00:17

Full fat coke, plain crisps and a shower followed by fresh air (only by standing at the back door, not by going out anywhere!) And then another nap

Rosere · 08/09/2019 00:18

@Titsywoo I know. 4 drinks. Total lightweight! I usually drink mostly pints of water when I'm out so I can avoid this. Thanks all

Carbs-toast, a dirty Pot Noodle, can of Coke, crisps, a shower, shag, fresh air then a shag should work!

Epwell · 08/09/2019 00:21

Try kefir. Works every time and if you drink it regularly it will reduce the hangovers.

RezCowgirl · 08/09/2019 07:18

Eggy crumpets with bacon and hot sauce with a mug of tea and some Dawson's Creek.

GinasGirl · 08/09/2019 10:51

Full sugar coke and a packet of ready salted crisps. Pjs, bad telly and napping.
Or a banana milkshake.

FurryDogMother · 08/09/2019 13:07

I'm rather hoping the ultimate cure is cooking a full roast dinner for 6 people, whilst entertaining a rather loud and lively friend. That's what I'll be attempting in about an hour, anyway - currently feeling like death!
