Any gym bunnies about? If I were to get a few gym equipment bits to do a home work out what would you suggest?

I can't go to the gym.

I'm losing weight and want to try and aid that and tone too.

I have NO clue.
Dumbells? A kettle bell?

Any suggestions for workout bids too please x

Kettlebells are fab as there is so much you can do with them! You will find a lot of work outs on Instagram/you tube

Try the My Fitness app from Jillian Michaels. You really only need a mat and some dumbbells. You can also customise workouts based on difficulty level, time, and any equipment you have available. I've been using it regularly for 1.5 years now and love it.

Another vote for a kettlebell. Get one that's a decent weight and it's all you'll ever need.

What would be a decent weight for a kettle bell?

Kettle bell and a resistance band :)

4,6 or 8kg?

I use YouTube for workouts as theres so many to choose from. I find 8kg kettle a good weight but maybe start with a 6kg and work up.

Have a look at gumtree for equipment. I wanted a Reebok stepper and found one for £30.....same one was £130 brand new! There was nothing wrong with it.

Definitely 8kg. It's the lightest my gym has and people can be a bit daunted at first but if you're, for eg., swinging it which is a whole body movement 4kg really isn't enough to do anything (assuming here that you are an averagely fit and well person).

Resistance bands. Use for toning arms and legs and core.
