Kefalonia in Oct

I've just seen some bargain flights for the end of Oct and booked them, having never been before to this island.

I'm aware though that a lot of places will be closing for the season, so any recommendations on where best to stay at this time of year?

There will be pretty much nothing open at that time. You'll have the best chances in the capital Argastoli, or north of the island in Fiskardo. There's another busier place called Lassi which is close to the airport, but I'm pretty sure most restaurants will have closed up by then.
