Freaking out- hand hold please

Admitted to hospital yesterday for pain in groin area and blood and white blood cells in urine and inflammation in blood. They've just told me in fasting and can't eat or drink. They scanned me yesterday and said everything looked okay- if that's the case then why can't I eat or drink?? I'm freaking out massively

Probably for fasting blood tests. The scan won't show problems in deficiencies or nutrients, hormones or whatever.

Ask one of the nurses why you can't eat or drink - they should tell you what is going on not leave you worried, but they won't know you are worried unless you tell them and ask for more details
