I’ve made a Victoria doing type cake with cream type filling.
How can I keep it fresh and edible for work tomorrow?
TIA

Just put it into a tub.
Tuperware would be the best but an old biscuit tin or chocolate tin will be fine for one overnight.

Fresh cream shouldn't be left out of the fridge for more than 2 hours before being eaten. I'm assuming you've added the cream now? You'll
have to put it into a tin & in the fridge but it might dry the cake out. In future, maybe make the cake & add the jam & cling it. Have the cream ready to add the next day.

I was assuming buttercream from the "Cream type filling". Sorry, if you meant fresh cream - I wouldn't put that on the cake until an hour or so before it was going to be eaten.

Just keep it in an airtight tin if filling isn’t fresh cream. If it is fresh cream then tin in the fridge.

Really fancy a nice slice of Victoria sponge.
