Help!! Hen doo stress

Someone help, im going away sunday for an abroad hen do. The bride is my best friend and a work colleague as are the rest of the people going. Ive just found out im pregnant!!! Its going to be a very boozy hen and everyones a nurse so will know if im lying about taking antibiotics or such.
What do i do? Do i tell everyone in the private chat and tell them not to mention it so i dont see the brides thunder, do i say im trying to conceive? Do i try and hide it?
I feel so stressed about potentially upsetting the brides weekend

You won't be stealing the bride's thunder.

You'll tell them you're pregnant, they'll congratulate you and ask when it's due and if you're feeling ok.

The bride and everyone will then get on with the hen do.

I agree with Worra. Perhaps tell the bride first personally so she has the chance to process it before all the other hens make a fuss of you? People aren’t daft, there’s no point in lying.

You could say you're taking metronidazole for a bad tooth ache and every nurse knows you can't drink on that 😉
Alternatively just tell everyone the truth straight away then make the rest of the weekend all about the bride! Sucks being pregnant on your besties hen do but you'll have an awesome time regardless!

Shes your best friend so you could just tell her in private. Im sure you can come up with an excuse to the rest of the group as to why you cant make it. If you say you dont want to steal her thunder (which i dont think you are/would) then you could tell the rest after the hen do. Oh and congrats on your pregnancy x

I would go with the metronidazole lie as well as you can’t drink taking that

I was with her today and said that i was late and stressed that i could be pregnant, she has an interview tomorrow and then we wont see each other till we are on the way to the airport.
I feel like if it was in a few weeks time id be excited rather then stressed.
Just dont want it to negatively impact her special time.
Thank you all for the replys, i may tell her and ask if she wants me to say im on metronidazole
