Beautiful Charlie Chaplin poem - but where can I get a print or poster of it?

This is the most beautiful poem I have heard for a long time and totally apt for me and my life at the moment.

I would love it in a print so I can get it framed. But I cant find it on google, ebay or Amazon, not in a format I can just buy and then get framed.

Any ideas? This is the poem …

As I Began To Love Myself
by Charlie Chaplin

As I began to love myself I found that anguish and emotional suffering are only warning signs that I was living against my own truth.
Today, I know, this is “AUTHENTICITY”

As I began to love myself I understood how much it can offend somebody if I try to force my desires on this person, even though I knew the time was not right and the person was not ready for it, and even though this person was me.
Today I call it “RESPECT”

As I began to love myself I stopped craving for a different life, and I could see that everything that surrounded me was inviting me to grow.
Today I call it “MATURITY”

As I began to love myself I understood that at any circumstance, I am in the right place at the right time, and everything happens at the exactly right moment. So I could be calm. Today I call it “SELF-CONFIDENCE”

As I began to love myself I quit stealing my own time, and I stopped designing huge projects for the future. Today, I only do what brings me joy and happiness, things I love to do and that make my heart cheer, and I do them in my own way and in my own rhythm. Today I call it “SIMPLICITY”

As I began to love myself I freed myself of anything that is no good for my health – food, people, things, situations, and everything that drew me down and away from myself. At first I called this attitude a healthy egoism.
Today I know it is “LOVE OF ONESELF”

As I began to love myself I quit trying to always be right, and ever since I was wrong less of the time. Today I discovered that is “MODESTY”

As I began to love myself I refused to go on living in the past and worrying about the future. Now, I only live for the moment, where everything is happening.
Today I live each day, day by day, and I call it “FULFILLMENT”

As I began to love myself I recognized that my mind can disturb me and it can make me sick. But as I connected it to my heart, my mind became a valuable ally.
Today I call this connection “WISDOM OF THE HEART”

We no longer need to fear arguments, confrontations or any kind of problems with ourselves or others. Even stars collide, and out of their crashing new worlds are born.
Today I know “THAT IS LIFE”!

He should have stuck to acting.

Sorry, OP. I bet there are places where someone will turn it into a framed print for you — Etsy? — but others will have more specific information.

Personally I think it’s up there with that ‘Live Laugh Love’ crap but each to their own.

Most beautiful poem.. Have you read many others? 😳

Pootles34 · 04/09/2019 10:51

Sorry OP but that is awful! And looks like nothing to do with Charlie - see here on Snopes.

Pootles34 · 04/09/2019 10:51

That is brilliant Soola!

AdobeWanKenobi · 04/09/2019 10:58

My toes have curled so hard I can't get my shoes on. Awful.

Poor Charlie Chaplin, a glittering career and then having that pinned on the poor bugger.

IWouldPreferNotTo · 04/09/2019 11:01

It's like it's been through google translate and then liberally sprinkled with punctuation.

Soola · 04/09/2019 11:03

@Pootles34

If he has written the poem it was attributed to him as having written it in 1959 when he was 70 and it just doesn’t fit the style of poetry of that time.

Now having read your link I can see that hw most likely didn’t write it at all.

Soola · 04/09/2019 11:04

@Pootles34

I love that picture of Hannibal, I want to have it hung on a wall! 😂

Unshriven · 04/09/2019 11:08

That's not so much poetry, as the ramblings of someone who's spent too much time navel gazing.

DeborahAnnabelToo · 04/09/2019 11:10

No way did Charlie Chaplin write that!! He was too busy having sex with barely legal age girls.

moreismore · 04/09/2019 11:14

I would type it up in a font and colour you like and take to a print shop-they can print in good quality paper to frame or poster size or possibly even on canvas.

moreismore · 04/09/2019 11:14

And it’s not to my taste... but that’s not what you asked Wink

ComtesseDeSpair · 04/09/2019 11:18

Not written by Charlie Chaplain: www.snopes.com/fact-check/charlie-chaplin-love-self-poem/

But loads of Etsy sellers would be willing to put it into fancy lettering for you and make a poster out of it.

Shoeshelpplease · 04/09/2019 16:33

Thanks to the helpful people who responded, really helpful.

To those who just wanted to have a dig and clearly have superior tastes (why bother responding?), this really resonated with me at this stage in my life due to individual circumstances.

I also am aware of the life of Charlie Chaplin and all the questionable authentication of the poem with regard to it's supposed author. None of that was relevant so I didn't include it in the original question, but thanks anyway for you errrr input.
