Can I moan please!

Phoned up to leave a couple of weeks ago and typically 2 days later the retentions team called with a much better offer which would save around £300 a year. I was just walking into a Skype meeting at work so said I needed to get back to her and she said she would call me anyway. No call so I called them. Now they’re not matching it 🤦‍♀️ Bloody bastards! Been with them for years but it’s so awkward as they have the best broadband and I love the V6 box. They’ve got me haven’t they? 😤😤 Just going to have to suck it up. Sorry for the moan. Anyone else been stitched up by them or any other corporate tossers lately?

No but my mobile contract is ending soon so I keep getting calls trying to talk me into having a new phone.
Most of the time I don’t even answer but the one I did answer happened to be on a night my dd (serial runaway) had gone missing.
I said I couldn’t talk as my daughter was missing and the woman on the line made a disbelieving noise and carried on with her spiel.
I’m usually polite if abrupt with salespeople but that time I lost it and screamed at her.

I've left recently but they couldn't offer me any good deal - every other year they have (6 years or so). Signed up to Sky for £39 a month for 18 months. Hate having to go between them and keep negotiating!

Call me back. I probably will cancel the disconnection but it’s only because we have so many devices that we need really fast broadband. My DH bought a booster recently so we are getting close to the 200MG as well. So frustrating! Wish my salary would go up as quickly as their prices.
