Have a hectic life with 2 young children and often feel not slept enough etc as do we all I guess. Youngest has just started nursery so obviously is getting all sorts of germs and colds etc but then I get them and they are 10 times worse! It’s still summer so I need to improve immunity in ways that I can, I do eat fairly decent but open to foods that are best choice, I do exercise where possible,
Wondering about your strategies or ideas?
I heard recently about propolis, anyone use this ?

Never heard of propolis?

Following with interest as I get horrendous colds (worse more recently because I had surgery a while ago which deflated a lung and made me more susceptible to coughs). I've heard of people taking echinacea (sp?) but no idea where I'd get that from!

Echinacea, Sambucol and most importantly probiotics - these will give your immune system a huge boost. I take Prebio7. Also, when you feel yourself getting poorly make sure you get as much vitamin C as possible as this will shorten the severity/duration :)

You can get high dosage tablets of vitamin. The clear up a cold very quickly for me or can stave one off.

I've recently been told zinc is good to boost your immune system.

I take a vitamin c with zinc supplement, a high dose vitamin d, a probiotic and an algae derived omega 3 supplement. This is the magic combo for me. I went from endless chest infections to not having so much as a sniffle in two years.
