Pregnant after vasectomy (annoying post - sorry)

So this will be annoying in the sense that I don’t know if I am pregnant, haven’t missed a period (not due on for another week) not taken a test. I have an overwhelming feeling that I am pregnant.

DP had a vasectomy coming up 7 years ago and had the all clear around 6 weeks post procedure. I however had kept my coil in as every time I remembered to make an appointment to have it removed something would come up and I wasn’t in any urgent need to have it removed.

I finally got round to it last month and have now for the last week or so had this feeling that I’m pregnant.

It’s very unlikely and probably psychological after having my coil removed, but has anyone experienced this situation and turned out to have actually been pregnant?

(Again, sorry I know these types of posts are frustrating and annoying, I’m not looking for anyone to discern if I’m pregnant and can’t test for a few days yet, but this has been niggling me enough to post).

I knew I was pregnant twice without a test.

Yes, I’ve had the same feeling with my last two lo’s, I think that’s what has me riled a little.

It would be enormously unlikely! I happens but normally to people who have sex before they get the all clear.

I knew I was pregnant before I took the test. I just felt different. And then when I got to the top of the stairs I came over all dizzy and nearly fell down the stairs. Only really took the test just to be sure

I fell pregnant 18 months after DH had a vasectomy so it does happen. Probably not all that common but possible.

It’s more likely that you’re just feeling paranoid because you had your coil taken out. I’ve been convinced I was pregnant when I wasn’t (have irregular periods).

Anyway you know the drill, no one on here can tell you if you’re pregnant. The only way to find out is to take a test.

I have read that if they just cut the vasa deferentia instead of cutting out a bit of the length that the 2 ends can spontaneously join back together - must be over 10 years ago that I read it in the Telegraph. So, it would depend if when he had the snip, it was 1 snip per tube, or 2.
