Dry mouth help

I'm on some medication and one of the side effects is a dry mouth. I'm going back to the specialist next week but does anyone have any advice on what would help? I already drink lots of water.

You can get saliva spray prescribed which can help. I have similar issues and carry a drink with me at all times and also have mints or sweets on me too.

@FaithInfinity thanks, I'll see if I can get anything prescribed by my GP.
