Found on the pavement near the local shops. It has both "feta" and "feta cheese" - what's the difference?

Sorry, "cheese feta"!

I don't know but that's the most middle class shopping list I've ever seen. Where's the Monster Munch?

PurpleDaisies · 01/09/2019 15:07

I’d have thought they’ve just written feta twice by accident.

It's because whoever wanted feta and put it again under the category of cheese but presumably thought better of getting cheddar etc
Then again halloumi only there once...

BendydickCuminsnatch · 01/09/2019 15:14

What’s under ‘milk’? Love a list!!

theendoftheendoftheend · 01/09/2019 15:14

whats the last thing on the list?

JohnnyMcGrathSaysFuckOff · 01/09/2019 15:16

Aubergine is the last item.

Turquoisetamborine · 01/09/2019 15:16

Last thing is aubergine I think!

AnnaMariaDreams · 01/09/2019 15:16

I reckon the last thing is aubergine

JohnnyMcGrathSaysFuckOff · 01/09/2019 15:16

Does that say cheese feta though....?

joystir59 · 01/09/2019 15:17

I'm not middle class but that is a subset of my shopping list

TheQueef · 01/09/2019 15:20

I always forget my aubergine in a feta shortage.

over50andfab · 01/09/2019 15:23

I’m guessing they really want to make sure they don’t forget to buy feta!

Sounds like someone who might be vegetarian or on a health kick/enjoys healthy eating?

Also...this list offends my sensibilities as I always put fruit and veg into their own section on the right hand side Confused

ILikeyourHairyHands · 01/09/2019 15:24

Obviously cooking some Greek food!

Lobsterquadrille2 · 01/09/2019 15:25

Sounds like a Waitrose list ....

TheGirlWhoLived · 01/09/2019 15:26

Sounds delicious....

ILikeyourHairyHands · 01/09/2019 15:26

Fruit and veg go on the left-hand side of a shopping list as any fule kno Over50.

LazyFace · 01/09/2019 15:31

That's hallounu and aubessive however I look at it. Also cheese fela.

AvocadoToes · 01/09/2019 15:32

I think it's "mint" rather than "milk"?

OP posts:
NoHummus · 01/09/2019 15:34

Yep HairyHands is right, fruit and veg always listed first, on the left hand side of the page.

BendydickCuminsnatch · 01/09/2019 15:37

Oh yes definitely mint and aubergine, I see it now. Lovely bit of mezze for a summer weekend!

ohbutyoulovescarves · 01/09/2019 15:38

She probably wants two lots of feta. One to serve with watermelon hence 'watermelon feta'

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 01/09/2019 15:39

Asbestos?

And someone really likes their feta there.

Judashascomeintosomemoney · 01/09/2019 15:44

Also cheese fela
Cheese, fela? Ah, so it’s Ted Hastings’ shopping list then...

Fraggling · 01/09/2019 15:46

Just wrote it twice as thought of it twice
