Can anyone help with my knobs?!

I have moved into a new house and there’s a Neff hob. When I turn the knob and push it down it ignites but as soon as I let go of the knob it goes out again. How do I get it to stay on?!

Keep it pressed for longer! Mine is Neff & it does seem to need to carry on after the initial 'catch'.

My hobb is a bit like that. I hold it down and count to five and it usually stays on. I'm having a new kitchen soon otherwise I'd have it serviced.

Try holding the knob in for a few seconds then let go.
