Efteling October half term week

We have booked here for a few days from Tues 29th as I have heard so many lovely things about it on here.

Has anyone been this week before, will it be horrendously busy?

Any more hints and tips? We are staying at the Efteling Loonsche Land Hotel.

My kids are teens so I hope they will enjoy it, I know I will.

I have never been at autumn but I imagine it would be beautiful then. Its such a magical beautiful place. Your teens will definitely enjoy it.
Check out bosricjk, your next door to it, the lake, restaurant... See if you would prefer it next time.

It can be confusing trying to access the route to get into the park for that early half hour. Ask staff etc and get them to show you.

Checked the crowd calender and it just says lively the days were going. Hopefully the local kids are off the week before.

I was there in July so can’t answer your crowd questions, but it is a lovely place. To be honest we didn’t find the way to the park confusing, it was well signposted.

We stayed in the lodges at Loonsche Land.

The way to park is fine, it's the special route to take for the half hour that can be confusing. Gates are closed but people are waiting and at one point you had to go through octopus cafe. Not sure if that's same.

It's fab op, you'll have wondeful amazing time.

PS are you seeing Caro? I've not seen it but people rave about it

Well, our half term here is the week before so that might affect numbers. Not everyone has the same half term.

The app is very good, it has live waiting times on it.

We were there on Thursday and it was fabulous and the longest queue was about 30 minutes but most a lot shorter. Make sure you download the app as it shows current waiting times for each ride plus your nearest loos, cafes etc.

Saw Caro two weeks ago with kids aged 6-12. It was so amazing both my husband and I cried.
I doubt it will be busy as not sure if Dutch schools have half term but we didnt find it crowded or too busy. Longest we queued was 35 mins.
