Can a phone sense temperature like that? I wouldn't have thought it can.

I'm pretty certain a phone can't take a temperature! Can't you use your hand to fell whether your DC is hot or not and if you think that they are maybe given them calpol or similar.

iPhones don’t have a temperature sensor in, I’d be surprised if other phones do.

Yea phones won't have that.
Take the back of your hand at place on the top of his chest if it feels warmer than normal. Give some calpol and see if it goes down. If atall ring a doc

You can't take his temprrature with a phone.

Call 111 and give him paracetamol if he's hot.

Thanks for replying... I did read somewhere before that certain phones could use a fingerprint sensor to take temp. He doesn't feel overly hot, clammy if anything. He seems to have stopped vomiting... but now his younger brother has started.... so I'm presuming it's a bug of some sort.... No sleep tonight..😫😴😴 and work in a few hours.... Once my boys are ok, I'll be grand! Thanks again for getting back to me anyway!! Appreciate it!!x

I find kissing the centre of their forehead a good way to tell whether they are hot or not. Centre not sides as they are sometimes warmer.
