I'm doing a cake for my sons birthday next week and I had the idea of ordering some cutters to help me as I don't have a lot of time!

It's a minecraft theme and I was really pleased to find what I need then I realised they're based in America and Australia!

I found a company called Jen's Cutters in Brid but it looks like they've stopped trading.

I've tried eBay but can't find anything useful!
Not even the simple tile cutter which is just squares!

I need:

  • a logo cutter
  • a 2cm square tile cutter
  • a sword cutter

I've attached the pictures to help! I'm hoping it's me being stupid but I just can't seem to find them. I'm hoping Mumsnet will be able to save the day!!

Just found the grid one sold in the UK, I clicked it and it said the seller is closed for their holiday!! This is getting frustrating Shock

You can buy ready-cut squares of fondant from Amazon

UnalliterativeGeorge · 30/08/2019 20:25

Hobbycraft might have some. Or lakeland - they definitely do hexagon ones so might have squares

RainOrSun · 30/08/2019 20:25

Amazon squares

BendydickCuminsnatch · 30/08/2019 20:27

Hobbycraft! Saw some the other day.

SausageSimon · 30/08/2019 20:34

Brilliant thank you all, I've got my square cutter from amazon! The same as hobbycraft one.

Just the logo and sword to go! A pick axe would be good too like suggest by PP

The TNT took forever but totally worth it.

SausageSimon · 30/08/2019 20:48

They were brownie bites from Tesco which I put fondant on. We had a tiny budget but a lot of time!

SausageSimon · 30/08/2019 20:53

@TerrifiedandWorried that always makes the best end result Smile

There’s this set on eBay that estimate delivery next Wednesday if that’s not too late, could ask seller for express delivery

WrongKindOfFace · 30/08/2019 21:26

Amazon has multi tile cutters with prime delivery.

If all else fails print out the designs and cut round them with a scalpel? Shouldn’t be too time consuming.

SausageSimon · 31/08/2019 07:40

Cutting out the letters myself will be the last resort!
Sadly I really don't have much time to do his cake this year so the cutters would've saved me a fiddly job. I messaged the seller from at the start of the thread who makes them to order so I'm hoping she gets back to me this morning

Have your tried Lakeland? Fast delivery and very helpful customer service and advice.

SausageSimon · 31/08/2019 08:35

@GrimalkinsCrone just looked, nothing on there sadly!

Clearly there's a market for this haha, new business coming up

Bog standard alphabet cutters and just adapt them?

SausageSimon · 31/08/2019 18:18

Might have to do that @WrongKindOfFace no luck elsewhere!
