It's been a bit of a rough week and it's got me down. I can feel that DP is getting annoyed with me and said earlier he thinks I'm being miserable. I just want snap out of it and to enjoy my weekend. I've a feeling it's going to end in a big row if I don't. How do you turn your mood around quickly when depression threatens to get the better of you?

Spotify.
Music, my favourite music in my ears.

Also comedy, Gameface is bloody hilarious, live at the Apollo that kind of stuff.

I’d phone a friend, have a chat and a moan and that would make me feel better. Then I’d make myself a gin and tonic, and try and make friends with DH.

Comedy on audible

Bath with magazine and big glass of Baileys. Then paint my toenails a sparkly colour.

iPad with boxset propped up on toilet seat lid so I watch it in a scalding oily candle lit bath. Then early night with face cream/ body cream. Maybe chocs and wine for bath if I've got stuff in

Youtube - funny animal videos. Especially cats. Give it a try! X

Some beautiful music in my ears, stand outside in the garden watching the birds or looking at the stars. The peace of it always makes me feel happier.
Or watching a comedian on prime like I'm doing now Grin

Brisk walk somewhere with trees and birdsong, phone call to mum to vent about bad day/week, then back home for a cup of tea and some decent chocolate or a glass of wine on the sofa with a good book. Ideally all of the above but otherwise whatever I have time/resources for.
