Which booster seat?

DD is 7, height is around 128cm. I’ve just bought a new car and need to get her a car seat - but obviously don’t want to spend a fortune as she’s only going to be in it for a relatively short amount of time.

It needs to be narrow, as she has to share the back seat with my 11yo and 14yo who don’t want to be too cramped.

Any recommendations?

You're still safer with a high backed booster at that age

Sorry should’ve said high back booster. We will be driving to France in October so she needs to be as safe as possible.

Well, she needs to be as safe as possible for all journeys but especially at higher speeds.

She has to use a booster seat until she is 135cm tall or 12 years old so she will get the use out of it for 5 years or until she's grown another 7cm.

If you're on Facebook the group "Car Seat Advice UK" is a great place to look for recommendations. If you live near a branch of the In Car Safety Centre they are excellent.
