Personal or historical
I've always been fascinated by the novel "futility" about a ship called Titan, described as unsinkable, which hits an iceberg 400 miles off the coast of Newfoundland in April and goes down with few survivors due to a lack of lifeboats on board... published in 1898
(It was also more or less the same size and speed of the titanic which also went down in April in the North Atlantic 400 miles off Newfoundland)
More personally, (This is outing so may be due another name change!) but I "met" a lady on the antenatal groups on MN. We had our DC the same day, gave them the same (not top 100 or anything) name, and then made friends on FB and worked out that our families owned holiday apartments abroad in the same block about 30 years ago and we had holidayed together when too young to remember!
Any other stories?
