Someone died in my bedroom...

I always thought previous tenant died in hospital but neighbour told me he died in my room and wasn't found 'for a while'.

Now I can't bloody settle and keep scaring myself with horrible thoughts.

I've lived here 13 years and been fine in my bedroom. Now it feels creepy.

I know most houses have had someone die in them but wondering feels different to being told directly 'he passed away in your bedroom and wasn't discovered for a while'

Just gives me the willies.

Never a Viking ghost, or a Roman, or a caveman.

@NeelixFelicis - the estate I used to live on had a Roman soldier regularly doing his rounds. This is a famously historical town and under Roman occupation for a very long time. The soldier used to pass through my bedroom Grin.

There are Roman soldiers who allegedly march through the basement of a house in York. Apparently a road used to be at the level the basement is currently at.

If this were really 'a thing' you wouldn't be able to see where you were going in certain parts of London because it would be like pea soup with ghosts.

I mean, imagine - Roman burial sites, civil war, the plague, the great fire of London.

Ditto - hospitals and care homes would have so many banging doors and pictures coming off walls it would be chaos!
