Pregnant on the coil

Has this happened to anyone else?

I haven't had a period in a few months, and I imagined it was due to the mirena settling down. They can be irregular anyway.

I've felt awful for a while now and took a test to put my mind at rest, it's positive, so I'm pregnant.

Oh my what a shock. This happened to my cousin she didn't plan on having a 3rd but her coil failed her too. My doctor keeps pressuring me to have one fitted but I'm very skeptical. All the best with whatever you decide to do.

My coil pregnancy is nearly 2 now, and snoozing lightly on me in the throws of a sickness bug. 🤮

I didn't think it could happen, but the doctor didn't seem totally amazed tbh. I had the coil itself removed early on.

Still not sure what to do... it's very confusing.

I've grown to think this little thing is actually quiet sweet. I've been pregnant a lot before (sadly all losses apart from one DC), and they all gave me bad sickness from week 4/5!

This ones been a little gem. Which for some reason makes it all the more harder

It must be so tough, OP. And all the harder knowing how far you are. I hope whatever decision you make brings you peace. I don't envy you at all for being in this position through no fault of your own
