fortune teller / spiritualist

Going to see a fortune teller / spiritualist later this evening.

I've been to two in the past just for the craic and most of what they had told me was true. I've not been in years but find it fascinating. Has anyone been to one lately I'd so what was your experience.

I have been to one many years ago when very distressed by issues in my personal life... desperation really as I am a very logical person who would never normally venture into the world of Mumbo jumbo... however I had a really positive experience.

Now my upset has long since passed and I have my sensible head on - I can't but think that a 'good' spiritualist has more to do with being a good counsellor and very intuitive to people's needs/distress and telling them what they already know (but need courage to act on) or to guide them on a realistic path.
Either way it was a good experience.

Not recently but 2 or 3 times, by different people I have been told things that there is no way they could have known, no way. No cold reading as I didn't react or answer to anything said to me, nor had I said anything to anyone in the building beforehand.
Twice it was me walking off the street on impulse within minutes. No chance for research etc.
The information I had was precise, detailed and things only I would know...no one else.

I've been to a few over the years. Sone ok and some amazing.

I have an appointment with one in our town who you wait months to see. My appointment is September the 13th...Friday Smile I saw her 4 years ago and she even knew m6 son's very very unusual name. My exact birthday and that I was about to get married and go on a cruise. Plus lots more.

I went to someone ages ago(honestly can't say what she was, she used cards of somekind so guessing some sort of tarot reader). I went with work people, and again was very 'this is bollocks' but one of the first things she said to me was 'So, there has been a lost pregnancy and you're feeling very upset about that'. I know this could have just been a leading question, but it was rather specific and as it happens I had just several weeks prior had an abortion that I didn't want. It was awful, I sobbed for ages. She mentioned other things, some right, some wrong but I just can't explain that first line.

I went to a group evening not so long ago.
This was 6 months after my brother died, we kept the cause of death private, well the spooky lady relaid the events of my brothers death down to a tee Shock

One Told me a load of English named people ( all old fashioned names, like Arthur, Ted and Molly etc) we're looking out for me. My family are all Dutch with no English names amongst them! Take it with a pinch of salt!
