Hot Dust

Does anyone else here hate that smell of hot dust from a vacuum cleaner? Any tips on how to combat it? Even when using new hoover bag?

If it's a cleaner with filters then change or wash the filters. I have a separate set of all the filters for my Dyson and I wash them a lot. When it blasts air it just smells vaguely of the washing powder I used to wash the filters.

The Henry at work though. That's a different matter. I have washed the filter and cleaned every part short of dismantling the motor and it still stinks!

Omg Yes......l thought l was the only one who could smell this my husband says he can’t smell it.

I clean our filters as well although my try to add a sent to it like pp.
