Removing grease from painted lining paper

Yes, I know we should have gotten a headboard, and believe me, now we're getting one!

There is a grease mark on the wall above where my husbands pillow is. It's grim and I have just gotten round to tackling it whilst I had time off.

After researching online I have tried:
Magic eraser
White vinegar and bicarbonate of soda
Washing up liquid
Chalk

It's not made much of a dent in it. The plan is to repaint that part of the wall a darker colour and get a lighter metal headboard. The wall is painted lining paper. Please help me get rid of this stain!

Soda crystal solution? That elbow grease stuff? Or cover with a stain slayer product before repainting

Or is it a stain stop thing? Supposed to cover them up so they dont show through new paint
