dd's hair

dd has just come back from getting her hair cut...and is upset at the result. she has curly hair (ringletts) , which were originally cut in a middle parting. however, the hairdresser suggested giving her a side parting, and she doesn't like it. my question is, can we brush it back into its middle parting, or has it been cut into a side one and we have to wait for it to grow? TIA!

Try it and see if it looks daft would be the logical suggestion??

If it's still reasonably long, it would probably be fine. Try it and see!

Wash it and depart it. If it looks unbalanced, it will be an easy fix by a hairdresser. But usually, one good side to having curls, is that you can part it any way you like, and change the parting daily if you fancy it.

Just try? Did she take off a lot at the front which might make it look awkward? Just give it a shot and see?

Failing that take her to another hair dresser to rebalance. It's easier to go back to a mid part than you'd think. Wash, blow dry and see where you land.

I'm going to try but didn't want to make it 'worse'- ie it looking terrible in a middle parting and then not being able to get it back to how it is at the side. its quite short now, just above her shoulders, so fingers crossed

I have a side parting and curly hair but the hairdresser always cuts it with a centre parting. Apparently this is to avoid uneven bits if the parting isn’t quite in the same place after you wash it. You should be ok Flowers
