Scented loo roll!!!

DP has been "Brexit stockpiling" loo roll for weeks... I've just had to break the news to him that I will no longer be using it. Grin

He's only went and bought the bloody scented stuff!!! Seriously, what is the point in it? I used it last weekend and my fanjo has been itchy ever since! Can loo roll give you thrush? Because I think I have it for the first time in my life.

DP is devastated but at least he is set for the next 7 or 8 months. Wink

Stockpiling scented loo roll for a no deal Brexit..
Nostradamus never saw that one coming!

I was convinced I has some vaginal infection due to a weird smell every time I wiped, until I realised DH has bought scented loo roll Grin Was about to make a doctors appointment.

Didn’t Dante mention scented loo roll in one of the seven circles of hell?

atinymew · 28/08/2019 11:31

I don't understand the logic either BillywilliamV but he is the one going out and buying it/paying for it so I just let him crack on.

I don't think he even noticed or cared that it was scented. And still doesn't understand what my issue is. Grin

Definitely made me itchy, never bought it again. What is the point?

BuzzShitbagBobbly · 28/08/2019 13:29

I once bought the shea butter one from Lidl. It stank - really sickly and sweet. Put it all in the downstairs loo so ex and visitors would use it up while I used the fragrance free upstairs bathroom

Potatoduster · 28/08/2019 13:30

Vile stuff. In third world countries it's common and hard to avoid as the paper can't be flushed. But no need for it here!

Aaarrgghhh · 28/08/2019 13:31

Scented isn’t good for down there and more to the point, it’s unnecessary.

PleaseNoFortnite · 28/08/2019 15:17

My parents buy that stuff, horrible sickly sweet smell. Never worked out why they want it but too scared to ask!

BillywilliamV · 28/08/2019 17:57

Never understood the random scent thing, I pay upwards of £30 a bottle for a nice eau de toilette, why do I want to smell of fabric softener or loo roll ffs?

Singlenotsingle · 28/08/2019 17:59

I buy the shea butter one from Lidl too, Buzz. I think it's lovely. I'm not stockpiling it though.

Well, somehow I don't think Lidl will be missing my Shea Butter toilet paper custom, so you should be ok wrt future stocks. Grin
