New carpets

If you were moving into a house on a 6 month let basis, would you replace 2 bedroom carpets (at your cost) because of a bit of paint on them? The paint could be easily covered up by rugs or furniture.

Just wondering!

No. Paint is clean dirt. I might if it was "actual" dirt though.

Unless you mean spilled paint as in when my ds dropped a tin of white gloss in dd's room then just shove a rug down!!
