Asda school trousers

DD is starting secondary school in September. At primary school her uniform had to be ordered from the school office so first time I am actually shopping for uniform.
Bought her blazer, tie and skirt from the official uniform shop. The trousers were really shapeless so didn't buy from here. Went to asda, she tries on trousers from their school uniform range and they looked nice.
Now I'm looking at them and they look really thick almost denim like. The school is very strict on no jeans, and I am worried that they might think she's wearing black denim jeans. I was wondering if anyone else had purchased them and thought they were ok or if it's just me? The label says 64% polyester, 34% viscose and 2% elastane if that means anything to anyone!

I think denim is 100% cotton, so the label is proof they're not denim jeans, and you bought them from Asda's uniform range - they'll be fine. I'd bet she won't be the only one not wearing the shapeless 'proper' trousers either.

Thank you! The uniform shop trousers were like old men trousers (no offence to old men!!)

You'd need to ask someone else at the school, they all have different rules.
