Bonfires ALL THE TIME

I live in a built up area so noise and smells from houses around us, reach us.
Around the corner from us is a family that burn stuff in their garden constantly.

The end of our garden diagonally meets theirs so we are close. This weekend has been lovely for spending time in the garden and drying washing outside too, however the majority has been a strong smell of smoke from the family's bonfire.
We can see the smoke rising from their garden no need to think it is anyone else.
They have started another about 4 hours ago and are still there now standing around it.

They have at least two a week or more. Can't think how they have so much stuff to burn and wonder what their immediate neighbours must think.

Is there anything I can do about it? Is there an environmental pollution number I can ring? Or should I keep quiet and put up with the smell ?

I would check the local council to see if there are any by-laws covering this.
