Stupid question about an injury

Hi,

I have an ongoing niggling injury. It happened months ago and is still there. Not hugely painful, not massively impacting on my life, but it's not going away, so I think iShould get it looked at? But by who? GP? Doubt they'd be able to do much. It's certainly not serious enough for A&E. There's a minor injuries unit nearby, but I get the impression they are for things that need urgent treatment, which, as I've been managing for a few months, I don't. There's a self-referral physio service nearby, but I don't know if I need physio.

Who should I see?

What sort of injury is it? How did it happen?

Blinketyblonketyblank · 26/08/2019 18:26

It's an achy shoulder. Happened exercising, I think. And then I didn't really look after it so it's not gone away. No swelling, just a bit stiff and achy, sometimes worse than others. I've not been doing much exercise over the summer holidays, so I've not done the thing that injured it in the first place.

I think probably self refer to physio, I've been having problems with my shoulder too and was thinking that was probably the best route to go down.

Yes - physio for that

Thanks - I'll give the physio people a call tomorrow.
