Taxi or tube

I need to get from Waterloo station to Euston tomorrow. Will have 2 DCs and 2 very heavy cases. Under normal circumstances I would just hop on the underground but it’s going to be hideously hot and I’ve got to lug the heavy cases plus escalator-phobic DCs around.

I’m wondering about getting a taxi instead.

I estimate it’ll be around £20? Has anyone done this journey by taxi? What would you do?

There may be a bus between the two stations perhaps?

The tube is not your friend if you have heavy luggage (I've planned journeys around stations with lifts ... only to find they're out of order). Taxi!

Look on TFL website . There’s a handy map there as well .

I’m usually a tube fan but Waterloo is one of the worst stations to change at. The platforms are so far away from each other and it can take up to 15 mins to get from the mainline down to the tube. Sometimes it’s easier to get off and join the tube network at an earlier, smaller station if your train stops there eg at Vauxhall.
