Putting raspberries in the microwave?

Will this make them go all squishy and gooey?

Wanted to use it as a sauce on top of Greek yogurt.

Probably, but so would just crushing them. If not sweet enough add honey or icing sugar.

I’d put them in a saucepan on the hob with a splash of water and a teaspoon of sugar and just heat them gently until they go mushy.

I buy bags of frozen summer fruits from Tesco, 3 for £5 . One of them I simmer slowly in a pan till it's all soft .
Then a few frozen berries a few table spoons of Greek yoghurt and a drizzle of the ( cooled ) berry sauce .
Yum
