Do you talk in your sleep?

I knew that I did occasionally, I don't really realise how much thought.Blush

We recently went to stay with MIL for a bit, and our bedroom was one floor directly below hers.
During the night she woke, and thought she heard people in the house. After listening for a bit, she recognized my voice, and I was apparently chatting away.

The next morning at breakfast, she told us about it, and asked him how he manages to sleep through it, has he tried shaking me?
He replied that he had a hard enough time interrupting me when I was awake, he wasn't going to even bother when I was asleep!

Turns out I talk in my sleep most every night, I had no idea
Made me wonder how many people are sleep talkers, it can't be that rare, but maybe we don't notice because we are all asleep?

Apparently I talk in my sleep. I didn’t know this until after I split up with exh and had a new dp.
I actually asked exh if I had always talked in my sleep and he said yes- never thought to tell me!!!
If my DCs ever end up in my bed or sharing a room they tell me I talk in my sleep too. Dd was talking in her sleep before she could really talk- to be fair she doesn’t ever shut up!!

That's an interesting point, @littleblackno , and if no one tells you, how would you know?

My DD talks in her sleep, but not DS
Both are chatterboxes when awakeGrin
