How can I get the most Kgs out of an 8kg carry on allowance? (What bag to buy)

I'm hoping to get away with the kids just putting their own clothes in a carry on so I want the bag to be as light as possible to be most efficient.

I'm on a budget too.

The £10 wheely suitcases I was going to buy are 2. 5kg alone.

Any other ideas. Can you take holdalls on board?

Am flying with Thomas cook

Worlds lightest IT luggage is lightweight as the name suggests

Yes you can take holdalls as long as they are within the allowed dimensions. I normally use a big shopping bag type thing that can then be squashed down if needed.

Wilko cases!!! Amazing! I live thousands of miles from the U.K. and each summer seem to need another Wilko case which I have to get a willing volunteer to buy for me and bring over!!
So light!
So cheap!
4 wheels so easy to wheel about!!

AMAZING!!
