If you have a (recently) recovering alcoholic in your family, do you drink around them? Don't feel I can ask right now...

I wouldn't do it in front of them no.
I would go out elsewhere and have a drink though.

Does no one ever drink around the relative? At social occasions etc. How long into recovery is he/she?

She's 2 years in, although with one major relapse. She's a close relative, but somehow I can't ask her this.
