I listened to a couple of the tailenders podcasts on Wednesday evening on a long journey home and now can't get this tune out of my head. It's been 3 days now 😩 i hope it goes soon, it's driving me mad.

What is the longest you've had an earworm for and what was it?

I often get the Waffle Doggy song @Spoonsmum . I wouldnt care but I don't like the programme!

It definitely works to listen to it properly all the way through, then segue on to other songs!

I went to bed one night fresh from swing HAMILTON in London. Was absolutely certain that would be my ear worm for quite some time (usually happens when I go to see shows) but no, I woke up that morning full of a random Erasure album track that I hadn't heard for a good 20 years

On day two of ear worm 🐛

That fecking lucky, lucky, lucky me off some ad. Drives me insane and DH keeps singing along with it just to add to my pain.

I ALWAYS get the 'someone's knocking at the door, someone's ringing the bell' song stuck in my head because of the sodding postcode lottery advert. I can just hear one note and it's in there for a week!

'Your Girlfriend' by Blossoms. Even contains the words 'And now your girlfriend is ringing in my ears again...' Fucking tell me about it!

Have you seen the bit in Inside Out where the brain-bits are sending ear worms to the brain? Whoever wrote that knows exactly how a brain works.

@ShirleyPhallus I also have Little Donkey stuck in my head often but it's because I sing "Little Doggy, Little Doggy" every time my puppy walks past 😂

Something about Riversea Fingle? I'm trying not to think about it too hard, incase it emerges from the darkest closets of my mind
