Housing association tenant query

Hi, just wondered if anyone knew how I could find out which housing association my neighbours house belongs to? Would I just send an email to the housing officer at my local council? Their house is just getting more and more cluttered every week with mattresses and rubbish bags outside their house. Along with 17 cat litter trays full of poo! Would the housing association do spot checks during their tenancy? Thanks

You could contact the councils environmental health department and they would find out themselves as part of their investigations.

Surely they’re the same as you? Unless you’re a homeowner or private renter, in which case how do you know they aren’t too? I think it’s more of an environmental health issue, than a landlord one though to be honest, if they’re paying bills and stuff I’m sure the LL is happy

The council. They will know who it belongs to, you need to explain your reasons behind enquiring though

I'm a home owner and she told me they are housing association. I've seen the housing association maintenance team come to fix things before but I can't for the life of me remember the name of the company. I'll contact the council as my first port of call I think. Thanks
