Possible new stores for Westfield (White City)

I did a survey and at the end was asked out of a group of shops what I would like there to be at Westfield. Now most of the stores I had not heard of before but Sephora was one and I had heard of pottery barn. Couldn't tell you what the rest where.

Am now hoping that Sephora will open at some time (even if it will be full to bursting of teenagers!!!).

Westfield is crap. I only go there for Lego store. No where to buy a cheap drink (ie a 50p bottle of water) and no bookshop. So quite frankly needs a good B+M or Wilko and a Waterstones 😁

SouthwarkSkaters · 23/08/2019 19:01

Surely there’s a Waterstones at Westfield?

bookmum08 · 23/08/2019 19:03

Nope. No bookshop except whsmith which isn't a particularly great branch.

There is a Waterstones in Westfield white city I walk past it every day on my way to work .

There is a Waterstones in Westfield, it’s opposite boots, which sells 65p water.

bookmum08 · 23/08/2019 19:37

There is? I will most definitely be searching for it. There wasn't one listed on the store list last time I looked. Off to check their website.....

I stand corrected. Wasn't there a few years ago though was it? And a branch of Flying Tiger now too. It's improving! Still got the world's worst Burger King and no MaccyDs ( Westfield really isn't my type of shopping centre to be honest).

t is near John Lewis and Boots. I bought some books there the other day.

Anyone wanting Wilkos - there is one in King Street Hammersmith in the centre.

There is a maccy D in Shepherds Bush green (though not in Westfield). Loooooong queues tho!

M&S food store (basement of M&S) can probably get cheapish water. If not go opposite to Lidl in the W12 centre.

Yes I recently discovered the maccyds that is down the road. I don't mind Burger King but that one in Westfield has the s l o w e s t service in the history of the universe! I was kinda joking about a wilkos or somewhere to buy a drink (although I do like a good Wilkos) - I know I could go to Boots or somewhere !
I am very excited to know there is now a Waterstones. That means there are 3 shops I like ( Lego, Entertainer and Waterstones). Oh and that branch of Flying Tiger that is also apparently there now.
As I said it's not my type of shopping centre. I am sure there are lots of people who think it's great but not me. Each to there own I suppose!
Sorry OP I kinda hijacked your thread.

In the subject of bookshops, I’d love it if Foyles came back. Sephora sounds good too.
