Going away for a few days but can’t get into accommodation until late afternoon so looking for something close by to do while we wait. We are travelling almost 3 hours to get there so nothing far away. Will have a baby and a 2 year old with us. Can anyone recommend anywhere?

Williamson Park good if the weathers nice, giggles soft play if you're just looking for something to while away the time

Thank you! Looking like the weather is going to be ok so will check out the park. Hoping to avoid soft play as I’ve done enough of that near home in the last few weeks!

If the weather is good definitely Happy Mount Park in nearby Morecambe. There’s a miniature train for little ones, splash park. Brilliant for little ones.

@NameChange84 we have planned a day at Morecombe whilst away so that we can go on the beach and then to Happy Mount.

Good choice for Happy Mount Park. Took kids there this week and it was brill. They had allsorts on such as punch and judy show, pirate treasure hunt and they had a carousel for little ones. Oh and an indoor soft play too.
