Dd12 has been complaining on and off the her foot hurts, yesterday she she stood up said it cracked and since can't walk on it (waking on side of foot)

It looks a little swollen and she's now saying it only hurts when standing/walking but it feels tight

Pain is on inside of the foot, but hasn't appeared to of done anything to actually cause injury

Not sure if I should get it looked at or see how it goes over the weekend

Sorry can't really see anything.
The cracking noise was probably just the normal movement of fluid in the joints (just like hands) and shes possibly pulled a tendon I suggest a hot bath and rest it maybe see a nurse if not better in a couple of days.

Hi there, has she been doing an increased amount of sport or changed to a different activity lately?

It does sound like a typical stress fracture or ligament strain in the area supporting the arch, if she has them it might be worth wearing good supportive trainers or running shoes all day, it might also be one of those strange unknown issues surrounding "growing pains" which mysteriously disappears, you need to do what she and you are happy with but personally if she's not too distressed I would give it a few days to see.

Did broke a small bone in the top of his foot about 8 weeks ago. It didn't swell or bruise for 3 days and even then not much. He had a slight limp but that's all. Minor injuries decided to x-ray as he flinched while they poked and proded, although it was just in case. This is what showed the small break. He spent the next 5 weeks in a boot.
He did it by tripping over the step, hardly anything.

I would keep an eye on it, rest and ice it . If it's still not right I would get it checked at minor injuries.
