If you've got a 14 year old dd what did you get her for her birthday?

Honestly at a loss. Please give me some ideas.

DD loves reading but she's got piles of books, access to school library and a kindle.

She loves music but we have Alexa with prime music, endless access to internet etc.

She enjoys singing and drama but not much equipment needed for the first and she does the second at school. she plays the guitar but she's got one of those and endless books of music as dp plays both guitar and piano

She's not keen on sports, doesn't really care that much about fashion...

She likes computer games but Im trying to discourage it happening too much

I'm at a loss. I've concluded that modern technology has made it much harder to get them something they don't already have. I really do not know what to give her

I have a similar problem with DS who will soon be 14. Millions of books, too old for lego, don't want to do tech. Am thinking about tickets to something: West End show, theme park etc.

Tickets for a show.... I'm getting "Six" show tickets for dds Xmas. Also, other ideas... amazon/costa vouchers, a fitbit, make up, nail varnishes, lunch at favourite restaurant for her and a friend, bath bomb set, an experience (they do sushi making sessions at yo sushi)

Karaoke machine? Sounds tacky but they are great fun, especially with her friends.

Instamax mini - basically a small Polaroid camera which she wanted to create a photo wall of friends, family, places we visit.

Also decorated her bedroom with new bedding : accessories which were part of her birthday gifts.

I was going to say a big snuggly blanket - my teen loves stuff like that. Anything she needs for her room, a cool clock, lamp or poster?

It was DD2s 14th birthday yesterday. She got a make case, with make up, a mermaid makeup brush set in a mermaid fabric case that I made, a DVD player for her room, an emoji bracelet and a fluffy hoodie she wanted.

Dd had a party for her 13th and a big gift. For her 14th she wants a new phone. She wants an iPhone, I have said a refurbished one!

My eldest was 14 a few months ago. We got her a fleecy blanket, pjs, bits for her room (lights, photoframes etc) Friends tat etc - all from Primark. also some bra top things from Jack Wills on sale, a bit of make up. From other family members she got money, Lush gift set, earrings, slouchy back pack type thing, tshirts - Stranger Things, Brooklyn 99, the Office merchandise ones. She also got a Starbucks and a cinema voucher.

She saved her money for the most perfect denim jacket which it took her weeks to find Grin and Adidas leggings.

My dd is 13 tomorrow. I’ve got her a massaging back/neck pillow, a big fluffy towelling robe, a new fleece throw for her bed and a wee perfume mini. I’m putting some money into her current account and We’re going shopping for new clothes. She’s having a big sleepover and I’ve hired a hot tub/disco thing Grin She’s a great girl and never asks for much so I want to spoil her a bit Smile
