Alcohol after diazepam

Had a 3 day course of diazepam (plus naproxen and co-codamol) this week for a muscle spasm. I know absolutely no alcohol whilst taking diazepam but How long until I can drink? I'm going to a festival at the weekend -a family one with my children so won't be getting drunk - but was planning on a few glasses of wine. Can I have wine (last diazepam was wed night) over the weekend? Or will I need to stick to soft drinks? Dr Google is quite vague on the length of time I need to wait. Any GPs around who can advise?

I always have 3 diazepam and 3 gin and tonics before I fly. I’ve been ok so far!

I hate being a passenger in a car. We're driving hundreds of miles on saturday. I'll have a dizaepam for the car and then have a glass of wine or two once we get there.

I have never heard that you had to wait.

I wasn't this cautious in my youth. Mixed and matched drugs happily (and had fun!) will stick a few bottles into the cooler

Like @Needallthesleep I happily mix diazepam and alcohol when flying. If I was taking the other drugs you are as well as the diazepam I probably wouldn’t drink at the same time but I can see no reason why you need a day’s gap.

You’ll be fine! You’ve probably only got 2mg pills anyway.
