Boring- non-LED camping light recommendation please!

Off camping with the kids next week and we need a "main" light for the tent that isn't going to make me feel like my eyes are being lazered out by superman. As per our current LED lamp.

Pref rechargeable or solar powered.

Any recommendations?

If you just want soft background light have you considered solar fairy lights?
