Where in Cyprus would we like for a week in October?

DH and i want to go away for a week somewhere warm, relaxing and interesting. We fancy Cyprus. I Have been to Paphos before with DD1 in November and it was lovely. I would be happy to go back to Paphos but wonder if there are other parts of Cyprus that would be better.

We like it not too busy. Nice bars and restaurants are a must. Not really keen on sunbathing so any beaches don't need to be sandy. We like a nice walk and enjoy exploring the history and culture of a place. We are in our mid 50's if that helps.

Any recommendations?

Limassol marina has recently been done up and it's not far from Nicosia if you want a bit of a city vibe occasionally

We are the same age and going in October. We are going to Atlantica Bay which is adults only. Seems to have great reviews. We did Paphos before but this is a but further round.

Go to the Turkish part, northern Cyprus. Experience Cyprus before the developers really got a hold. A beautiful time and place.

We were in Paphos this time last week. I like the mosaics and the walk by the sea but there are a lot of hotels.
We drove over to Poliss & Latchii, they were lovely with really delicious places to eat

Depends on your budget.
The Columbia hotel in pissouri is amazing but very very expensive! Other places in pissouri also nice.

Polis & latchi are nice at that time of year.

Be careful if you go to northern Cyprus - it’s not a recognised country and while it’s lovely (I have been) there can be issues with healthcare, insurance and consular assistance.

Protaras is nice but busy and built up (it’s near ayia Napa and all that entails)

Or Aphrodite hills resort between Limassol and pafos is nice and has an awesome spa!

Thank you. This is the sort of information I need. We will have a decent budget but will probably avoid AI as we like eating in different places.
