Reed diffuser?

Have tried lots, they all seem to lose their scent really quickly. I'm even considering a really pricey one, like Jo Malone, but worried it will lose its scent after a week. I just want that lovely wafty, welcoming fragrance you can actually smell, does it exist??

The neom sleep one is amazing. Fills my whole upstairs with scent and lasts ages. Sadly I’ve not had the same experience with the other neom scents but the relaxationy sleep one is just out of this world

Super, thankyou. Off to JL at the weekend so will give it a sniff!

Neom stuff is beautiful. Have you been turning the reeds over? If you turn them upside down once a week it helps keep the smell.

I’ve had both Neom and Jo Malone (buy them when I get my birthday money from in laws). In my experience they last much longer if they are in a cool position in the house. We have an open fire in the living room and the jo Malone one evaporated in about 2 months but the one I put in the bathroom easily lasted 6 months. I’ve had tranquillity from Neom and again this lasts longer in an unheated room. I do think they are expensive initially but in the right room temperature well worth the money.

Ah, interesting! The one in my hallway is in full sun, wonder if that's affecting the scent?? Don't think I'm brave enough to splash out on a Jo Malone, but looks like Neom could be the way forward

Cowshed. I got knackered cow and it has lasted me a year.

I’ve got a jo malone one by my front door and one in the upstairs bathroom. Both smell lovely and the scent is light and wafty! I alternate between those ones and rituals ones which I think last slightly longer.
Love them both equally.

I'm super impressed with my Prices signature range ones. Last ages and great scent waft for £14.

Zara home are lovely

Reasontobelieve · 22/08/2019 21:54

I was going to suggest Zara as well.

Show myself up here
I was given a reed diffuser years ago, thought they were fancy joss sticks and tried to light them......
Might give them another try

SuzieQ10 · 22/08/2019 22:13

I buy myself a Neom one as a little birthday / Xmas present to myself each year. They usually last about 6-9months in my experience.

Tranquility is nice and I have the sleepy one in our bedroom, which is still going strong over a year later! It's only got 3 of the reeds in though, so it's not too strong.

brightlights73 · 22/08/2019 22:19

Lots of great recommendations, thankyou. Looks like there's hope for a nice wafty hallway after all. Going to start with a Neom, birthday in Sept so will call it an early treat Smile

I was given a lovely stoneglow one at Christmas and have only just thrown it away so it lasted pretty well! I think they are around £20-£30 depending on what scent you choose.

Be1atrix · 22/08/2019 22:56

I LOVE Jo Malone ones. Turn the sticks every Sunday.

However, I also love the Aldi knock offs of them. I really think they're similar and they last ages too.

So I buy both :)

yankee candle reefs are fantastic, last ages and you can get them cheaper in certain card shops
