I need a place to moan

1. Yes I have a flexible working arrangement, the fact that we're short staffed isn't my fault

1. Stop being late to relieve me, it's so annoying.

1. No, I'm not taking on extra responsibility for the same pay.

(FYI this is lighthearted. I know I could get a new job but this pays very well)

Why can't I sit at the till.
Why can't I even have a bottle of water
Any chance we could have some heating in the winter or fans in the summer
Why can't I wear my own steel toe capped boots, yours make my feet hurt really badly

I see every day where public money goes down the toilet while highly paid professionals sit round a table trying to fix problems that are largely down to shitty, shitty parenting and chaotic families. I see lovely kids being led down failing, abusive pathways and I see nobody there to pull them back out because they're from a culture people don't understand or know how to work with.
Nevertheless, I wouldn't do anything else.

Working for a regulator sucks. We are so scared of being taken to court it is painfully slow to achieve anything and then spend time dealing with complaints about how slow we are.

My boss will dress up additional duties as a "learning opportunity" as if she is doing me a favour

Please stop coming to me for things just because your admin support is part time, slow and can’t think for themselves.

I don't mind taking on some extra duties because we're going to be short staffed. But it's not my fault one of the team is shit, so don't expect me to pick up more extra work than him just because you don't trust him to do it right!

Oh, and that big extra pay rise I got was years ago, my responsibilities and ability grew into it a long time ago and I am underpaid!

Its awful working in the heat/cold. You've promised fans for the summer and heaters for the winter but nothing happens

Stop pulling rank and undermining me

I work in probably the last industry on the planet that doesn't have computerised records. Everything is hand written and the paperwork burden is huge. I hate paperwork and bureaucratic processes. My suffering is great.
