Apple Watch, what do I do?

I've currently got an Apple Watch Series 3 38mm in silver. I hate the colour so I'm thinking of selling it and upgrading to a Series 4 in gold (as well as the colour I also prefer the screen layout). Now I know Apple will be releasing the Series 5 next month so my question is do I get the 4 now or wait and hope it comes down in price?

I know the 4 will become slightly cheaper but the value of my 3 will also drop, probably by more, and I can get a discount on a 4 through work.

I'd trade in the 3 for the 4 now , unless you really want to hold out for the 5. Not sure that they've said if there is a 5 being released yet though. I have a 4 and I'm very happy with it, not sure what a 5 could do in addition to the 4 that would make it better really.

That's what I was leaning towards. I can get £130 for my 3 from Music Magpie at the moment but I'm sure that will drop pretty quickly if there is a 5!

There's pretty much going to be a Series 5 (with titanium and ceramic options) so after that releases next month the S4 will drop in price. I'll be getting a S5 - but not in titanium or ceramic. ££££. But either way I'd wait until after Sept 10th when Apple have their event announcing the new iPhone - and presumably watch.

The screen on the S4 is so much better than the S3 (I got my DW a S4 for her birthday last year)

I would sell the 3 now. Wait till the 5 is out and then buy the 4. I'm sure you can manage a short time without one?

I hadn't actually thought of that Damia! That will work providing I can get it in gold as the gold 3 seemed to disappear when the 4 came out.
